One of the best ways to keep progressing in Pilates is to take your practice beyond the studio. This week, we’re focusing on Spine Twist Supine — a gentle but powerful exercise to improve core stability, spinal mobility, and coordination.
Why practice it at home?
It helps you strengthen your obliques (side abdominals) for better support in every movement.
It encourages spinal mobility, which can ease stiffness and improve posture.
It’s a simple, floor-based exercise that you can do almost anywhere — no equipment needed!

Here’s how to get the most out of it:
Find a quiet space where you can lie down comfortably.
Follow along with the video until you feel confident with the movement, then practice 2-3 times throughout the week
Focus on moving with control — let your breath guide the twist.
Notice how your spine and core feel after each practice.
Remember, consistency makes the biggest difference. A few minutes at home can make your in-studio sessions even more effective!
